I love all things animation and all things SVG, so I messed around the other day with some SVG/CSS animation techniques for fun and thought I might as well share!
This was a project I threw together in like 2 hours for a job interview challenge a few years ago. Looking back, I’m slapping my younger self for writing some silly code, but I’m still proud of the final product and creative process surrounding the prompt: Bring a real-life object to life with HTML, CSS and JavaScript in two hours.
For my final project in the Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly, I built an app for my 10-year-high school reunion so my classmates can catch up with each other and learn about what they have been up to for the past 10 years.
I believe one of the biggest issues with the music industry today is proper documentation and transparency of credits. You can find who acted in what movie instantaneously with IMDB, so why should the music industry be any different? I don't think it should, so my team built a prototype app to begin solving this problem in an elegant way.
Planning an event can be difficult... and especially annoying when trying to gather a bunch of busy people. So I built an app to try and make it easier for people to find a time that works with everyone's schedule using Ruby on Rails.

This website redesign project was a lot of fun, as Wayne is not only an icon in the music industry but an idol of mine as well while I was studying music.
